We've been in the process, for about a year now, of starting to build our home! Well last Monday, April 15, 2013, Chad called me and we finally got our permits! We are so excited to be starting and to be able to actually see the progress. Chad cleared the area where we will be building a while back but yesterday he got on the machine to clean it up where some grass had started growing. I'm hoping to keep an update on the progress. Hoping to have more soon ;)
Dylan wanted to be on the "tractor" with Daddy!
I want to try and get a picture from the same spot of the progress. I haven't found a front view spot yet, but this is the side view

A special visit
So, I didn't realize, until recently, that Uncle Bud lived part of the year in Vero! When I found that out I was thinking to myself that it would be nice to take Grandma up one Saturday to have lunch! So, she e-mailed Uncle Bud and they set up a date. So, yesturday, Grandma, Chad, and I headed up to Vero to have lunch with Uncle Bud and Jo Ann. It was a nice ride up and only took about 2 and a half hours. We visited at their house for a while and then headed to lunch on the beach. It was a beautiful day and so neat to listen to stories and watch them laugh together! I'm so thankful that we were able to do it!!
Easter!
I love being able to participate in all that my children do! The Friday before spring break, the kids had their Easter parties at school. I got to be with Landyn for his class's breakfast/brunch, then headed over to Ry's while she decorated Easter eggs!
Landyn's teacher, Ms. Craig, was so sweet and let Dylan stay in her class and do "centers" while I went down to Rylee's class. He looked like such a big boy!
I tried to take B's picture with his "name egg" but he wanted to eat it instead!
Easter Sunday, we started off with an Easter Egg hunt for the eggs the Easter Bunny hid. Then we headed to church to Praise our Risen Savior! After that we headed to my Parents for a nice Easter lunch. I hid eggs for the kids and we had fun watching them run around looking for them.
I hid the "golden egg" in a tree and the kids could NOT find it!!

Saturday night, before Easter Sunday, we FINALLY dyed Easter eggs!
