Airboat Camp Weekend!

This weekend the kids and I finally got to go stay at airboat camp! Again, Meme was awesome and kept "Hurricane Brycen" so that the kids and I could go out and stay. They have been working SO hard and camp is starting to look great! This weekend they tackled the dock. The kids and I just kind of hung out and watched. We did smores after dinner but the mosquitos were bad so we weren't out long and I didn't take any pictures of them roasting their marshmallows :( I brought my laptop so the kids could watch a movie in bed. We also brought a microwave and the kids got to have popcorn during their movie, (again, I didn't get any pictures) :( . Nonetheless, we had a great trip! What I love most is capturing the little moments, and the memories they're making without even knowing. So blessed with this life I've been given!

Oh yeah! Chad and Pink headed back to the road to take the "crew" and the kids and I had a dance party on the deck! It was SO much fun ;)

A day at the park!

Friday I got to watch my sweet niece, Aly! I had her all day so I thought it would be nice to spend a little time at the park. Meg met up with us and the cousins all had a great time playing together! So thankful for the time we get to spend together!

Airboat Camp

Chad has been working really hard to fix up airboat camp! He's been going out almost every weekend. This past weekend was absolutely beautiful! Meme was awesome and kept Brycen on Sunday and the older 3 and I got to spend the day out at camp! It was an awesome day!

Chad and the guys caught a little baby alligator the night before. The kids had fun playing with it!

Awards Ceremony

I am so proud of my Girl. She makes Principals Honor Roll every quarter! This was also their first awards ceremony wearing their cheerleading uniforms!

Rodeo Weekend!

Rodeo weekend is one of my favorite weekends in Homestead! We always take the kids to the Rodeo Friday night and they love it! We always have a good time.

We go to the parade every year too. Again, it's one of my favorites!

Rylee got to ride in the parade and throw out candy since she was "Little Miss Homestead Rodeo" for her age group!

It's always a fun Family weekend!

Little Miss Homestead Rodeo

It has been forever since I've done a blog! I was trying to sort through all the Christmas pictures but so much has happened since then that I've decided I'll just go back to Christmas later. Rylee came to me and told me that she wanted to do the "Little Miss Homestead Rodeo Pageant". I'm not too keen on pageants, but all she had to do was dress in cowgirl attire, stand on stage, and smile. Her best friend was doing it so she wanted to also. I started looking online and came across a cute ruffled dress on Etsy but the woman needed 6-8 weeks to get it out. At this point we only had 2 weeks! So, I asked my Mom if she could make it, and even though her time is limited, she pulled it off! Ry's dress rocked and I think that's what helped get her the win. She is SO beautiful and I sure am one proud Mama!
